Atlanta Season 3 Poster Turns Donald Glover And His Cast Into Abstract Painting

While promoting Atlanta season 3, one of its stars, LaKeith Stanfield, posts an abstract painting cast poster on his social media.

A new poster for Atlanta season 3 was released, incorporating the cast into an abstract painting. The FX series which stars Donald Glover, Brian Tyree Henry, LaKeith Stanfield and Zazie Beetz, had decided to film their renewed third and fourth seasons back-to-back after multiple delays. In addition to acting, Glover is the creator, writer, director and executive producer of the surreal comedy-drama. Glover portrays Earnest ‘Earn’ Marks, who is the manager of Henry’s rapper character, Alfred Miles, with the stage name ‘Paper Boi’.

Now Stanfield has taken to his social media account to release a new poster to promote Season 3 of Atlanta. The show has gotten very creative with its promotional material, having already released a Atlanta season 3 trailer in which the actors star in an old-school cleaning commercial, and this poster, in which the actors are framed in a classic surreal painting with famous European landmarks in the background, such as the Eiffel tower and the Big Ben clock tower. While Atlanta focuses on many serious topics such as homelessness, poverty and depression, the show is known for incorporating multiple aspects of surrealism into its humor and has often been compared to twin peaks. The series filmed its two seasons across Europe, including London, Paris, and Amsterdam, where the series was heading at the end of season 2. Glover still announced the upcoming season of Atlantacomparing its quality to that of The Sopranosso it will be exciting to see when Atlanta Season 3 premieres March 24.
